  5. Ammeter - T1422

    A large (8" diameter) round gauge to measure milliamperes D.C. +/- 150 ma made to be installed in a control panel. It was manufactured by Weston Electrical Instrument Co, Newark N.J. All of the patent numbers on it are from the late 1800's.

    An "Army Lightweight Service Mask". The mask connects via the rubber hose to a cannister in the green cotton bag. The cannister would filter out poisonous air. The bag is filled with whte cotton, probably to hold its shape. The mask may have originally been stored in the bag. The date is handwritten on the inside of the flap as well as "SLT-17"

    A rubber mask with googles connected to a cannister which filters out poisonous gases. It was made by the Mine Safety Appliances Co. (MSA). The cannister is made of steel and painted red with a paper lable containing instructions. It is relatively heavy, approximately 10 pounds.

    A mask made of rubber with a plastic lense. This would have been connectied to a cannister that filtered out poisonous gases. It was manufactured by the Mine Safety Appliances Co. (MSA). It is in good condition and appears to be realitively new.

    A collection of stiff paper running cards and locations of fire alarm stations. These appear to be for locations in New York and Pittsburg. They are kept in a white envelope.

  20. Atmosphere Analyzer - T1455

    This kit is used to detect poisonous and dangerous gases in an environment. The compressed gas cylinder contains: Hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, methane, oxygen and nitrogen. The yellow hand-held unit displays a digital measure of gases in the air. This was once used in the Red Star Yeast Co. in Baltimore.
